Shawn Lee
From animating on films at Pixar and Disney to game development at Gravity Well, I’ve built a career that lets me share real, hands-on experience with the animators I mentor.
For almost seven years, I’ve been running KYOSIL, guiding artists with feedback that’s practical, personal, and rooted in industry reality.
Whether it’s features or games, my goal is to help you grow your skills, your confidence, and your own unique voice as an artist.

Q:What are Study Sessions?
Live group events such as demos, lectures, Q&As that use one of your two monthly slots. All Study Sessions are recorded, so you can watch later if you want to save your slots for critiques.
Q:Is anything included?
You will have access to KYOSIL Rigs.
Q:What if I don't use all the slots?
Any unused slots won't carry over as the membership fee will be charged monthly regardless if you use them or not.
Q:How big is each session?
We are capping at 8 students currently for critique sessions, but this may change depending on mentor's schedule.
Q:Can I enroll anytime?
Yes, you can join KYOSIL Lite at any time. Your monthly slots start as soon as you enroll. Just make sure you enroll on the month you are planning to participate as the monthly fee will renew every month.
Q:How long is each session?
It really depends how many students have work to show, but it could be anywhere between an hour to two hours.
